A wonderful fresh organic superfood that Kind-Hearted Souls can grow at home, year round, very-very inexpensively, are crops of Microgreens & Sprouts.
Pea shoots on left, buckwheat greens on right, grown @ my kitchen window.
Not only are microgreens beautiful, but their nutrition is ULTRA-FRESH & ALIVE -- harvested daily just before each meal. Micros are pound for pound 2 to 30-times more nutritious than the normal mature veggies that we buy in stores.
Photo above shows 2 trays of microgreens. Look out the window & you see my neighbor's garage, with snow on the roof -- showing us that micros grow beautifully indoors ever day of the year.

There are dozens of different microgreen crops you can grow. Most growing cycles from seed to harvest is 7 to 10 days. You can stagger the planting days to insure a continual daily harvest for family & friends. My current favorites are peas, sunflower & purple kohlrabi.

I also grow sprouts in glass jars & trays -- every day. There are dozens of types of tasty seeds to sprout. The growth cycle from seed to harvest is from 3 to 6 days. My current favorites are lentil, fenugreek & mung.
A pound of dry lentil seeds doubles in weight in just 3 days of sprouting. No other type of food you buy at the store actually doubles & triples in weight & volume in just a few days.

Growing your own food at home insures their supreme unbeatable quality & nutrition. And harvesting food at home means ZERO "food miles".
"Food miles" are the miles it takes to transport food from grower to consumer. The average for fresh veggies & meats, canned & frozen foods is 1000 miles or more. This of course takes refrigeration & transportation by trucks & planes using fossil fuels. You avoid all that by growing micros & sprouts @ home.

Amazing! Thank you for your off-grid nutritional advice for Starseeds. One question though: Don’t you have to always rebuy the seeds for your micro-greens? Where I live they sell these micro-green packets, which you can buy and sprout and eat, but then you have to buy them again…
Amazing idea for someone who would want to live in a mobile tiny house, imagine having a garden of micro-greens on the roof or just near the kitchen window.
Thank you :)

Microgreens & sprouts grow really well under lights, in small spaces, & are fun to grow. They produce harvestable crops in days ... day after day.
I imagine that they are excellent crops to grow on starships orbiting 🌍, as an ideal food for "first contact extraterrestrial humans" who plan on visiting Earth for days, weeks, months ...
Again I imagine: these high-vibration sprouts & greens grown in starships helps their bodies to become oriented to "solid" third/fourth dimensional foods that are exquisitely pure, wholesome & the easiest organic materials to digest.

Hybrid extraterrestrials can first grow & consume microgreens & sprouts on their home starship for months in advance. Then grow & consume the same foods while on the surface of the planet ... making the adjustment to new 3rd/4th dimensional experiences smooth, regarding food intake.
